“An organization is only as good as its people.” |
"Dear Jo-Ellyn & Scott,
I just wanted to thank both of you for all of your hard work. You have both been so terrific to me always sending me to great companies, making sure all is well, and always speaking highly of me. I feel blessed to have had the opportunities you have offered me over the last year. I love my new job. I would not have had this opportunity without both of you. Thank you for everything!"

"Dear Scott,
I would like to thank you for the interview, I am pleased at how well it went. I never expected to have a job a few hours later!
I am impressed at the way you handled the opportunity that arose during the interview, I see that you put your best forward.
I appreciate that and can assure you I will do the same, as I represent the school I graduated from as well as Barclay Temporaries.
Once again, thank you for your time and skills, I will be happy to refer you to other graduates from our school."

"Having recently moved to New Hampshire and finally settled in my new home, it was now time for me to find a job. I spent weeks looking for work in the paper and sending out countless resumes with little or no success. I soon decided that it would be nice to have help with my quest. Barclay Temporary Services had an advertisement that caught my eye, so I decided to give them a call.
Well I must say that was the smartest thing I could have done.
The next day I went to their office and was greeted with a smile. The paperwork was easy to fill out and if I did have a question, the woman at the front desk was eager to help. Upon completing the necessary forms I met with one of the staff named Jo-Ellyn. We talked about what I really wanted to do and she really seemed to have my best interest in mind.
It was not long before she started setting up interviews for me. I visited two or three different companies before I found something I really wanted to try.
Now my new job is teaching me new skills that are not only interesting to learn, but will be a great addition to my resume.
So I just wanted to say "Thanks" to all the folks at Barclay, especially Jo-Ellyn and Scott. You both have been wonderful. You found me a great job and I found two special new friends.
Oh, by the way…my employer just mentioned the other day that they were glad they had contacted Barclay Services too. 'We were only looking for a temporary person and found a full time employee.'"

“Thank you for your helpfulness and thoughtfulness during these past few months. I’m leaving tomorrow for my summer job with the Forest service in New Mexico, and I plan to attend graduate school in New Jersey this autumn. This means that I will no longer be working for Barclay. I want you to know that I’ve appreciated your efforts to find jobs for me to do. You have always been very friendly and conscientious, which is something to celebrate and acknowledge.”

"…I found Pamela Goodwin of Barclay Personnel Systems to be exactly the right partner in my recent search for a management position in the Financial Services industry.
Pamela was extremely professional, straightforward, and instilled the confidence in me that she understood my needs, and could be my advocate in pursuit of prospective employers.
I would highly recommend her services…"

"For 23 years Barclay Personnel has been a partner in my personal career choices and in my professional hiring decisions as Controller of Budd Foods. My interview as a candidate didn't just focus on my skills, experience and education. We talked about what challenged me, what interested me, what size company I enjoyed, the culture of the work environment I wanted, whether or not I wanted/needed a large corporate structure with a clear path of growth in title and compensation or whether I'd be happier in a smaller more personal organization, confident that my role directly contributed to the company's success. Working with a talented placement agency like Barclay is a partnership…a give and take of ideas, exploring new choices or opportunities and making intelligent informed decisions. I will always be grateful to Debbie Kennedy for convincing me to interview with two wonderful guys who owned a chicken pie company and I am thankful that I was able to rely on her and other members of her team to provide me with excellent candidates when my role changed from candidate to hiring manager."
